(new section in the works)

  • A Thing of Beauty and a Couple of Dogs - the story of a beautiful young woman and the unfit man who wanted her more than life itself.

  • Grey Day - This little piece ponders that moment when I was 16 years old on a rainy day in 1967, came upon a funeral home near downtown Columbus, and stopped to stare. I pondered the meaning of death at that moment. Then the undertaker appeared at the window. (Go to Grey day.)

  • Poetry slams can cause nausea - The trendy poetry slam movement is by and large a star-crazed thing that drowns out a lot of great poetry left and right. My letter about slams was published in Westword, a weekly newspaper.

I hope to add more into this section in the near future.
